RaNi Technology was founded in 2006 primarily to serve small to medium corporate network infrastructure and media delivery platforms, cost-effective solutions to the demands of its clients. Available products were expensive, too focussed and inflexible. The decision was made to develop a range of products and services that were dynamic and cost-effective, with capability to compete with the best the IPTV and Digital Signage industry had to offer. Within 26 months the first product was complete, a platform designed entirely in house. In June 2008, the network infrastructure arm was divested and Digital Media Projects began to focus entirely on digital media delivery.
